LittleBear Kids Posture Pillow: the ergonomic pillow sized for a growing neck

$54.99 $109.99 Save $55.00

Many kids sleep on pillows built for adults. They're too tall, so the head tips forward and the chin drops toward the chest. LittleBear is made in three heights, one for each age, so your child's neck stays neutral all night.

  • Sized by age: 1–3, 3–8 and 8–18 years
  • For side and back sleepers: contoured to keep the neck in line, whichever way they lie
  • Chin up, not folded down: head, neck and spine stay aligned through the night
  • Cool and never flat: breathable Tencel and 3D mesh over a springy honeycomb fill

Why we re-made it

“Like lying on a pancake.” So we made it fuller.

Our first kids pillow was the same generic factory pillow you’ll find almost everywhere. Parents told us it felt “like lying on a thin sheet of paper.” They were right. So we had it re-made with more height and more length. Now it feels like a real pillow, just built for a child.

  • Parent sitting on a sofa holding the fuller LittleBear pillow

    Fuller and longer.

More height and more length than our first version, so it holds its shape under a sleeping head instead of squashing flat.

  • Boy asleep on his back on the LittleBear pillow

    Contoured, not flat.

A gentle centre dip cradles the head while the raised edge sits under the neck. It feels like a pillow, not a folded towel.

  • Boy asleep hugging a teddy bear on the LittleBear pillow

    Sized by age.

Three heights, from 0.8 in for toddlers to 3.5 in for teens, so the pillow matches the child sleeping on it.

What a regular pillow gets wrong for a child

Boy asleep on the LittleBear pillow in a dim bedroom
  • Built for adult shoulders, not a small frame
  • Too tall and too wide for a small head
  • Too big for a toddler bed
  • Flat “kids” pillows squash down by midnight
  • Same height whether your child is 3 or 13
The thinking behind it

Why your child’s pillow should fit them, not you.

An adult pillow is shaped for adult shoulders. A child’s frame is smaller, so the same pillow sits too high. A flat “kids” pillow goes the other way and squashes to nothing.

  1. The adult-pillow problem

A standard pillow is sized for an adult. Under a small head it sits too tall and too wide, and your child spends the night propped up on it, or shoves it off the bed.

  2. The flat-pillow problem

Most “kids” pillows go the other way. They start thin and compress under a sleeping head, which is why parents told us our first version felt like lying on a pancake.

  3. The LittleBear fix

Three heights, one per age band, with a contoured centre and a raised edge for the neck. The head rests at a comfortable height and stays cradled through the night.

  4. Support that lasts all night

The honeycomb core springs back instead of compressing, so the pillow feels the same at 3am as it did at bedtime.

Girl asleep on her side on the contoured LittleBear pillow

A contoured pillow shaped for a child, not shrunk from an adult one.

The LittleBear pillow is built around a child’s proportions. Three zones do the work:

  • The centre cradle: a gentle dip that holds the head so it doesn’t roll off in the night.
  • The neck edge: a raised, supportive roll that fills the gap under the neck.
  • The side wings: higher ends that give side sleepers a comfortable rest for the cheek and ear.

Back sleeper or side sleeper, the shape works in both positions. Nothing to wear, nothing to learn. It’s a comfortable pillow your child simply sleeps on.

Sizing made simple

Three sizes. One for every age.

Each size is a different height, so the pillow grows with your child. Between two sizes? Size up.

  • Ages 1–3
    Toddler pillow 0.8–1.6 in high · 18.9 × 11.4 in

Our lowest, softest profile, for toddlers moving into a bed. As with any pillow, not recommended for babies under 2.

  • Ages 3–8
    Kids pillow 1.6–2.4 in high · 19.7 × 11.8 in

A medium profile for the preschool and early school years.

  • Ages 8–18
    Older kids and teens 2.4–3.5 in high · 20.9 × 12.6 in

Our fullest profile, for older kids and teens with broader shoulders.

Every size fits a standard US pillowcase (20 × 26 in).

What’s inside every pillow

Built from real materials, made for small sleepers.

Every layer has a job: comfort, airflow and a shape that holds.

  • Contoured shape

A gentle centre dip and raised edges, so this ergonomic sleeping pillow cradles the head instead of letting it slide off.

  • Honeycomb airflow core

Soft TPE tubing in a honeycomb pattern. It springs back night after night, and air moves straight through it.

  • Breathable 3D mesh

Open spacer fabric on the sides lets air travel through the pillow instead of collecting under your child’s head.

  • Lenzing Tencel surface

An Austrian botanic fibre made from wood pulp. Smooth against the skin, hypoallergenic, and it carries moisture away instead of holding it.

  • Age-matched dimensions

Three heights and three footprints, from toddler to teen. Not an adult pillow cut down.

  • Side and back sleepers

The contour supports both positions, so you don’t have to guess how your child will sleep tonight.

Got questions?

Everything parents ask before ordering.

What size should I get?

Pick your child’s age: 1–3, 3–8 or 8–18. Each size is a different height (0.8–1.6 in, 1.6–2.4 in and 2.4–3.5 in). If your child sits right on the line, or is bigger than most children their age, size up.

Is this a toddler pillow?

The Ages 1–3 size is. It’s our lowest profile, made for toddlers moving from a cot to a bed. It’s designed for children ages 2 and up. As with any pillow, it isn’t recommended for babies under 2.

Is it a pillow for side sleepers or a pillow for back sleepers?

Both. The centre dip cradles the head for back sleepers, and the higher side wings give side sleepers a comfortable rest for the cheek. Most kids switch positions during the night, and the contour works either way.

Is it a memory foam pillow?

No. Memory foam softens with heat and holds the dent of the head. LittleBear uses a TPE honeycomb core that springs back instead, plus Invista antibacterial cotton and pearl cotton fill, so the shape at 3am is the same as at bedtime.

Is this a neck support pillow?

It’s a supportive pillow with a raised edge that sits under the neck, so there’s no gap between the head and the shoulders. It’s a comfort product, not a medical device.

Is it a cervical pillow, an orthopedic pillow or a spinal alignment pillow?

No. Those terms describe medical or therapeutic products, and LittleBear isn’t one. It’s a contoured, ergonomic pillow sized for a child. If your child has a medical concern about sleep, posture or their neck, please speak to your doctor.

Is LittleBear the best pillow for neck support or the best ergonomic pillow for my child?

We won’t call any pillow “the best.” What we can tell you: it comes in three age-matched heights, it has a contoured shape, and you have 90 nights to see if it suits your child.

Is it a breathable pillow?

Yes. The honeycomb core is open, and the 3D mesh sides let air move through the pillow, so warmth doesn’t build up under the head. The Tencel surface carries moisture away from the skin.

Will my child actually use it?

There’s nothing to wear and nothing to practise. It’s a pillow your child lies on like any other. Give them a few nights to get used to a new shape.

Do normal pillowcases fit it?

Yes. Every size slides into a standard US pillowcase (20 × 26 in). Avoid toddler pillowcases (13 × 18 in); even the smallest pillow is 18.9 in long.

How do I clean it?

Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry fully. Use a pillowcase for daily wear and wash that with your sheets.

How do shipping and the guarantee work?

Your order usually takes 1–3 business days to process, and shipping then takes about 5–8 business days. You have 90 nights to try it. If it isn’t right for your child, email help@trylittlebear.com for a full refund. See our refund policy for details.
